About TRACKS USA
TRACKS USA is an LLC enterprise owned and operated by myself, Bruce, my wife, Kathy and our son Tony. TRACKS USA has a retail-warehouse located by Lake Lillian, Minnesota. We have no other employees, preferring extended hours for us to higher overhead brought on by additional employees. We normally answer the phone from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Central Time, although we have been known to take calls outside these hours. Walk-in customers are always welcome!
Our goal at TRACKS USA is to provide customers with quality products at realistic prices while maintaining the profit margin necessary for our business to succeed. The large quantities of our volume buying and the efficiency of our operation allow us to achieve this goal.
Why our prices are so low!
Customers often ask us how we can sell new name brand products at 20-50% less than our competitors and stay in business. Here's how we do it:
- First of all, we run a tight ship. Every marketing dollar is carefully spent. We have no accounts payable, no frills like fancy chairs and desks, and we do not waste money on unnecessary things like toll-free telephone numbers that end up being abused.
- Second, we work off of volume. No tricks, we just rely on good, old-fashioned, reliable business principles. We buy right in quantities and pass the saving on to our customers!
- Lastly, we try to provide the highest level of customer service and product quality in the industry. Kathy, Tony and I are very knowledgeable about our products, and the Camoplast tracks, TRACKS USA rail and tunnel extensions, and other products we market are known for their quality.
Why we only take orders by phone
I firmly believe in the power of the Internet to promote products. However, due to the application questions most customers have with snowmobile tracks, I feel it is imperative to be able to take the time necessary to visit with a customer about their particular application and order.
Most customers have narrowed their choice down to two or three different part numbers and want to know more about the specific characteristics of each. This cannot be achieved with online ordering. Also, what would entail the exchange and time of numerous e-mails can be achieved with a quick, inexpensive phone conversation. This same phone conversation can then be used to place the order.
The validity of this concept is born out by the fact that we had less than five track exchanges last winter. Fewer exchanges result in lower overhead and lower cost to you, the customer. Any time a track has to be exchanged, both the customer and I lose, and everyone is disappointed.
We stock other products
While snowmobile tracks account for the majority of our business, TRACKS USA has become involved with several associated products, including TRACKS USA rail and tunnel extensions. Our TRACKS USA rail extensions and tunnel extensions are designed in-house and locally manufactured.
I enjoy the buying and selling of surplus products, and that is why other items will occasionally become available at TRACKS USA. Our surplus inventory is the result of production over-runs or changing market characteristics.
Customer feedback is appreciated. Feel free to email or call us (320-382-6128). Thank you.
